Stanley Hudson is recognized for being the longest-tenured sales representative at Dunder Mifflin Scranton and the branch's resident crossword aficionado. He is known for his strong, silent personality, negotiating prowess, and attention to detail. Hudson has had a distinguished track record of success, as evidenced by his many Dundie Awards. In 2005, he received the Dundie Award for “Fine Work” and is also a former recipient of the Dundie Award for “Great Work.” On a personal note, Hudson is especially fond of the pretzels on Pretzel Day at the Scranton Business Park as well as the minutes just before 5pm each evening.
Outside of the office, Stanley enjoys doing more crosswords, planning for his retirement, and spending time with his family, including his wife Teri and his daughter Melissa. He does not enjoy basketball nor any of the heart attacks that he has suffered. His retirement dreams have included living in Florida where he carves birds.
Hudson has also enjoyed moderate success as a voice actor, having narrated Michael Scott's film, "Threat Level Midnight." He has never stuttered.
