Darryl Philbin joined Dunder Mifflin Scranton as a warehouse associate and soon became the warehouse foreman. In his time at Dunder Mifflin, he served as an integral part of the shipping and warehouse operations for Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch. He also served as Dunder Mifflin's Shipping Manager and later transitioned to hold the title of Marketing Director after the Sabre-Dunder Mifflin merger.
In his free time, Philbin enjoys playing keyboard. He's always been a trusted source of advice for his co-workers, especially when it comes to educating Michael Scott on the nuances of cultural slang. He's been known to fleece it out on occasion.
After working for Dunder Mifflin for almost a decade, he was recruited by former co-worker Jim Halpert to work for the sports marketing firm Athlead in Austin, TX. Philbin has one daughter from a previous marriage.
