What accessibility features are available on Peacock?

At Peacock, we're committed to making our app accessible to everyone. Right now we offer several tools that may help people with disabilities use our service. We are always working to improve so that everyone can enjoy Peacock.

Closed Captioning (Subtitles)

Closed captioning (which Peacock also calls subtitles) is available for content on Peacock. You can find it in the player menu under Audio & Subtitles (look for the speech bubble in the lower-left corner).

Closed captioning can be customized to provide different sizing, font, and color options on your account settings page.

If you encounter any issues with closed captioning while watching specific content, we’d love to hear about it

Audio Description

Audio description is available for many shows and movies on Peacock, across all our supported devices. You can find it in the player menu under Audio & Subtitles (the speech bubble in the lower-left corner).

Screen Readers

Peacock is compatible with screen reader technology that can help visually impaired users navigate the app. Screen readers are different from audio description as they can be used to read pages while browsing our site. Audio description can only be used when enjoying content. Most screen readers can be turned on through a device’s accessibility settings.

If you have further questions or feedback about accessibility on Peacock, please contact our Customer Care team using our Email Us form.
