Other than rare exceptions, such as trailers, subtitles are available on our content across all platforms.
To turn on subtitles while playing content, please follow the steps below.
· Launch the content you would like to watch.
· Pause the content to make the navigation bar appear.
· Click up on your remote and then click right to the text bubble icon that says "Audio & Subtitles"
· Then select the subtitle option you would like to use.
· You may have to click a button to select this choice and allow 30 seconds for the subtitles to come on.
For a mobile or tablet device:
· Launch the content you would like to watch.
· Click anywhere on the video to pull up the video playback options.
· Select the text bubble icon.
· Then select the subtitle option you would like to use.
Making additional customizations:
You can make additional device-specific customizations to the appearance of closed captioning and subtitles on your devices and platforms by following these steps:
iOS and tvOS:
· Open the Settings app.
· Select Accessibility.
· Select Subtitles & Captioning in the Hearing section.
Android:
· Open the Settings app.
· Go to Accessibility settings under General.
· Select Hearing/Audio and then Captions.
Xbox:
· Settings are available at PeacockTV.com.
