Andrew “Andy” Bernard served many roles throughout his time at Dunder Mifflin, but ultimately served as Regional Manager of the Scranton Branch before leaving to pursue a career in the performing arts and, ultimately, a position in university admissions at his alma mater, Cornell University. He originally started his Dunder Mifflin career in the Stamford, CT branch as a sales associate and became Regional Director in Charge of Sales where he oversaw a wide variety of commercial transactions for the branch. Bernard transferred to Dunder Mifflin Scranton after the branches merged and became a fixture of the sales staff before ascending to the title of Regional Manager. Before his time at Dunder Mifflin, Bernard worked at Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, AIG, and Enron.
A proud graduate of Cornell University, Bernard often shares his a cappella singing and overall musical talent with his co-workers. He was previously a member of the Cornell University a capella group “Here Comes Treble.” Andy Bernard has been romantically linked to co-workers Angela Martin and Erin Hannon, but those relationships have since ended.
