Summer House's Ciara Miller Named New Host of Love Island Aftersun with Tefi Pessoa
Love Island USA Season 8 premieres this June exclusively on Peacock.
It's official: Maura Higgins is stepping down from her weekly Love Island Aftersun talk show hosting duties once Love Island USA Season 8 kicks off this summer. While longtime fans will be sad to see 35-year-old Irish stunner and The Traitors star exit her post, the entertainment world is equally giddy about the two stars who will take over for her: Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa!
That's right, viewers will be treated to a double dose of reality TV royalty when Love Island Aftersun returns with new episodes later this summer. (As if Love Island USA couldn't possibly get any hotter, right?)
Love Island USA host Ariana Madix responded to the news with a simple "🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."

All about Ciara Miller
The 30-year-old has been a cast member of Summer House since Season 5 and has quickly emerged as an all time fan favorite, especially in the wake of recent shocking drama revolving around the show. Miller's Aftersun role comes after a flurry of positive career news for the model/nurse. She's been spotted interviewing Hollywood's biggest stars, she already has a season of The Traitors under her belt, and she was recently announced as participating in the next season of Dancing With the Stars (along with Higgins, coincidentally enough).

When you've been an integral part of reality TV for as long as Miller has, you're bound to have some thoughts on the Islanders who will compete on Love Island USA Season 8, and that's why Miller is the perfect co-host for Aftersun.
All about Tefi Pessoa
Call Pessoa a content creator, a TikTok icon, a podcaster, or an internet personality if you like, but we prefer to call her the future co-host of Aftersun. The 35-year-old has established herself as one the premiere voices in social media. Her podcast, Tefi Talks, premiered in July 2025 and covers the latest Hollywood news and gossip.
In a May 11 Instagram Story, Pessoa tagged Miller in a post that read, "See u in Fiji we have much to discuss," giving fans a tantalizing glimpse of how much the star is looking forward to her new gig.

When does Love Island USA Season 8 premiere?
Season 8 drops on Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET - exclusively on Peacock.

During Love Island USA Season 8's premiere week, episodes will stream every day of the week. Beginning the following week, new episodes will stream daily (that's six days a week!) except for Wednesdays.
Fans can catch the Miller and Pessoa-hosted Love Island Aftersun episodes on Saturdays.
