Chu's Oscar-nominated adaptation when the movie debuts on Peacock on March 20. Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue is a music-filled love story that follows two struggling musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) who join forces as a Neil Diamond tribute band. Hudson's luminescent performance as Claire Sardina earned her a 2026 Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, as well as nominations for an Actor Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA. Everybody's favorite talking (and swearing) teddy bear is back in the prequel series to Seth MacFarlane's film. Season 2 takes us back to 1994, as Boston teen John Bennett (Max Burkholder) enters his senior year of high school. John — and Ted — are still living at home with John's parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alana Ubach), and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham).
