What's New on Peacock: January 2026

New year, new lineup of must-watch content on Peacock.

January 2026 brings original series, buzzy feature films, and the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards — and that's certainly not all. The wait is finally over for The Traitors Season 4, which premieres on Thursday, January 8, while Ponies, a Peacock original spy series set in the 1970s, makes its series debut mid-month. 

Stream 2025 film releases Bugonia and the Jordan Peele-produced HIM. And if you've got little ones in your life, don't miss Season 2B of the adorable animated series Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue!

January also marks the beginning of awards season, and you can catch the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards on January 5, with E!'s live red carpet coverage also streaming on Peacock the evening before.

The Traitors Season 4

Emmy-winning Peacock reality series The Traitors returns on January 8, with host Alan Cumming welcoming 23 new contestants to the castle. Familiar faces in the cast include Bravolebrities Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, Caroline Stanbury, and returning competitor Dorinda Medley; Love Island: Aftersun host Maura Higgins, and famous football mom Donna Kelce. Cumming has said that the "best moment of Traitors TV history" happens this season, so you won't want to miss it. Trust no one!

Ponies

Ponies, Peacock's new thriller-espionage series starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, boasts style and substance. Set in the Cold War era, two embassy secretaries fall into the top-secret world of spycraft after their husbands' suspicious deaths. The two PONIES (persons of no interest) uncover a conspiracy as they search for answers.

Bugonia

Bugonia is Emma Stone's latest collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos, and she plays an executive who's kidnapped by a conspiracy theorist (Jesse Plemons). He's convinced she's not who (or what) she says she is.

HIM

Produced by Academy Award-winning master of horror Jordan Peele and directed by Justin Tipping, HIM follows an ambitious young football player (Tyriq Withers) into a dark and surreal world when he trains with a new mentor (Marlon Wayans).
