Keke Palmer Would "Absolutely" Go on Love Island — Under One Condition
"If I was in a different universe, I would be somebody that auditioned for Love Island, absolutely."
If Keke Palmer wasn't Keke Palmer — star of The 'Burbs, host of NBC's Password, mother of her son Leo, and many more titles she's earned throughout her long, iconic career — she'd "absolutely" be on Love Island USA.
In an October 2025 video for GQ, Palmer answered some of the internet's most burning questions about her, including whether she would ever sign up to be on Love Island. And as a major fan of Peacock's reality dating show herself, she did not hesitate to answer.

Keke Palmer would "absolutely" go on Love Island, under one condition: "I would have to be..."
"If I wasn't Keke, I would absolutely go on Love Island," Palmer told GQ before adding, "I think it would be crazy if I went on Love Island now. Like, girl, what are you doing?"
Now, if life was different for Palmer, she'd totally submit an application. "But if I was in a different universe, I would be somebody that auditioned for Love Island, absolutely," she said. "And I would be trying to find love on the island."
But after watching hours of recouplings, dumpings, and challenges, Palmer knows how she'd want to enter to Villa. "Well, I would need to be an OG, I would need to be an OG," she continued. "'Cause the bombshell, you're kind of up against a lot, you know what I mean? If you're an OG, everybody kind of has respect."
Palmer knows a thing or two about how Love Island works and often weighs in on the drama unfolding in Fiji. On her podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, she's interviewed Season 7 OG Islanders Chelley Bissainthe, Olandria Carthen, Nic Vansteenberghe, and Taylor Williams, as well Season 6 fan-favorites like JaNa Craig, Serena Page, and Kordell Beckham.
"I've been a fan of Love Island for a really long time. I mean, I watched UK and then when it came to USA, so I've always loved the show," Palmer said during her chat with Serena and Kordell in August 2024.
