Married at First Sight Season 20's fairytale love story has big news to share: Michelle Le and Cameron Mitchell have officially started their surrogacy journey.
In an October 20 Instagram video, Michelle and Cameron, who famously tied the knot sight unseen during the most recent season of MAFS on Peacock, announced that they've taken steps to expand their family together. "Lowkey life update nbd... officially starting our surrogacy journey," the text over their video read, which featured Cameron sweetly spinning Michelle to celebrate the news.
"Here we go 🤯 we have no idea what will happen but let’s normalize it," Michelle captioned the post. "1 in 5 women struggle with infertility (ps cam still hates transition videos) 💕."
In Season 20, Michelle shared with Cameron early on that she may not be able to get pregnant after she was diagnosed with fibroids at 26 and their conversations around fertility and family planning only brought them closer. During the reunion episode, Michelle shared that she underwent a hysterectomy after filming wrapped.
"I had fibroids, so fertility was definitely something that I was really worried about," she explained to experts Paul Brunson and Dr. Lisa Paz. "Over the past eight years ... I was really trying to focus on preserving my fertility, which I feel like as a woman is just something that is so innate. My case was just so bad, and so in May I ended up getting a hysterectomy."
