Seasons come and go, but LIVE sports never stop on Peacock. Peacock’s expansive live sports programming includes Premier League, Sunday Night Football, Big Ten Basketball, NASCAR, NTT IndyCar Series, SuperMotocross World Championship, golf, and much more. That’s why we put together this guide to all the big live sports and events happening this week from May 2 through May 8. Check out the schedule:

Cycling 

La Vuelta Femenina 

La Vuelta Femenina is underway. The toughest women in cycling continue a punishing eight-day journey through the heart of Spain. In the week ahead, this group will tackle steep hills and mountains as they make their way to the finish line in Madrid.

Soccer 

Premier League 

Top-flight action kicks off early this week as Chelsea and Tottenham go head-to-head on Thursday afternoon. Tottenham is coming off two straight losses that put them further away from cracking the Top Four, but it’s still possible. Spurs need to win every match for the rest of the season if they want to have any hope of moving up. Meanwhile, Chelsea hopes to build some momentum and make a late season rise up the table. Later this week Man City’s campaign for a fourth Premier League title could rest on a date with Wolves. A win on Saturday could push the Cityzens back to the top. Then on Sunday, Tottenham is back in action again against Liverpool. A surprise loss and draw set the Reds back in their quest for the top spot. Find out if they’re able to turn things around this weekend.

National Soccer Hall of Fame 

The National Soccer Hall of Fame honors the folks who, on and off the field, made the biggest impact on the beautiful game in America. Join the celebration and see what a difference these legends of the game have made. This year’s inductees include goalkeeper Tim Howard, USWNT star Tisha Venturini-Hoch, and more. 

Saturday at 2:30p ET: National Soccer Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 

 

 

 

Golf 

CJ Cup Byron Nelson 

The PGA Tour brings the pros back to Texas for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Watch top golfers compete on the player-favorite course at Craig Ranch. Jason Day is defending the championship, but it won’t be an easy repeat with players like Dallas-native Jordan Spieth and previous back-to-back winner K.H. Lee in the field.

Sunday at 12p ET: Final Round 

Insperity Invitational 

PGA Tour Champions golfers are also teeing off in Texas this weekend. The Insperity Invitational brings an elite field to The Woodlands Country Club outside Houston. Watch Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, two-time defending champion Steven Alker, and more tee off for a $2.2 million purse.

Sunday at 3p ET: Final Round 

PGA Works Collegiate Championship 

Stream one of the most anticipated tournaments in college golf. Athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, and other Minority Serving Institutions are invited to play 54 holes at the celebrated TPC Sawgrass. That’s the home of THE PLAYERS Championship, so we can’t wait to see what these top college golfers can do on this challenging course.

Wednesday at 3p ET: Final Round

Horse Racing 

Kentucky Derby 

Often called the most exciting two minutes in sports, longtime fans know the Kentucky Derby is more than a two-minute race. Stream all-day coverage of the event, including every race, every surprise celebrity appearance, and yes, every giant hat. This is the 150th edition of the derby, so expect some sensational surprises in store.

WWE 

NXT 

NXT Superstars compete in extra taped matches on NXT Level Up. 

Backlash 

The first Premium Live Event after WrestleMania XL sees Cody Rhodes in his first title defense since he won the Undisputed WWE Championship last month. This weekend brings WWE’s biggest Superstars to Lyon, France for what promises to be a wild, action-packed afternoon for those of us watching from this side of the Atlantic.

Motorsports 

SuperMotocross 

Supercross takes the action to new heights. This weekend, your favorite riders head to Mile High Stadium in Denver for the penultimate race of the Supercross Championship. This track tests drivers with back-to-back 180-degree turns and a long sand section presenting new challenges every lap.

IMSA 

The Porsche Carrera Cup holds its next race at the Miami International Autodrome. With every driver behind the wheel of one of the world’s hottest cars, this is as true a test of driving skill as you’ll find this weekend.

Track and Field 

World Athletics Relays 

The fastest athletes from more than 40 countries give it everything they’ve got in the Bahamas this weekend. The World Athletics Relays is a huge qualifying event for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Find out who surges ahead in their journey to Paris LIVE this weekend.

Rugby 

HSBC Rugby Sevens 

SVNS is back! One of the fastest, most exciting tournaments in international Rugby holds its grand season finale in Singapore. By the end of this weekend, there will be two new League winners. Argentina leads the men, but are only eight points ahead of Ireland. Either team could take home their first SVNS title. In the women’s division, New Zealand and Australia are locked in an even tighter battle with 102 points each. A season finale this big is definitely worth staying up for.
