The 39-year-old star of Peacock's PONIES won't be quitting her day job anytime soon.

It sounds like Emilia Clarke won't be applying for a job at the CIA anytime soon.

How to Watch

Stream PONIES exclusively on Peacock.

During her recent visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers, Clarke revealed there's one aspect of her PONIES character, Bea, that she cannot relate to whatsoever.

Although Bea quickly proves to be quite adept at the whole espionage thing on the Peacock spy show, Clarke doesn't feel like her character's skills would translate in the real world. When late-night talk show host Seth Meyers asked, "Are you the kind of person who thinks you'd be good at spy craft in real life?" — Clarke made it crystal clear that she is nothing like her PONIES character in that respect.

"I would be the worst spy," she admitted. "I would be terrible."

Meyers' follow-up question yielded even more hilarious honesty from the 39-year-old Game of Thrones alum.

All about PONIES

The new espionage thriller show PONIES is on Peacock, where all eight one-hour episodes are streaming in full right now.

Series regulars include Emilia Clarke, Haley Lu Richardson, Adrian Lester, Artjom Gilz, Nicholas Podany, Petro Ninovskyi, and Vic Michaelis.

Why would Emilia Clarke make a "terrible" spy?

After Clarke confessed she'd make a "terrible" spy, Meyers asked her what her Achilles' heel in the profession would be.

"All of it. Absolutely everything," Clarke deadpanned. "I’m bad at lying. I get uncomfortable if I'm with someone and I'm maybe being mean in a certain way. Or like, that person doesn't like me."

So there you have it — although Clarke has perfected a believable Russian accent for her role (after a lot of trial and error) and plays a wholly convincing spy in PONIES, she won't be entertaining a real-life role in espionage anytime soon.
