Nearly three dozen countries will soon face off in one of the oldest and most prestigious song competitions in the world: Eurovision 2026.

What's more, this year's event marks the 70th anniversary of the event that dates back to 1956.

This year's field of 35 is filled with a mix of nations with a proven track record of Eurovision success, as well as countries hungry for their first-ever win.

All eyes will be on the host country, Austria, as they try to become just the fifth country to successfully defend their Eurovision title, and the first nation to achieve that since 1994. The previous back-to-back winners were Spain (1968, 1969), Luxembourg (1972, 1973), Israel (1978, 1979), and Ireland (1992, 1993, 1994), with Ireland being the only country to win Eurovision three times in a row.

As for which countries have the most Eurovision victories overall, Ireland and Sweden are tied for that honor, with seven wins each.

Keep reading for a list of all 35 nations competing in Eurovision 2026, along with their respective artists and songs, and their track record at the competition.
