Everyone knows by now about Gold Zone, the Olympics streaming channel where you can watch every medal victory live, but if you're one of those fans who just can't get enough of skating, there's another very cool feature you'll want to check out.
Introduced for the 2026 Milan Cortina Game, Rinkside Live offers viewers on Peacock unprecedented access to the ice in figure skating and hockey, including key skates leading up to the podium. Here's how to take advantage.

What is Rinkside Live?
When you watch a typical Olympics broadcast, like the ones airing on NBC, you get exactly what the program's director wants to you see. If a figure skater's coming in for a jump, you'll likely get a side view camera, while if they're gliding across the ice in preparation for a pass, you might get a wider view of the whole rink. With Rinkside Live, you the viewer get to make those decisions.
If you're watching on your phone and you activate Rinkside Live, you'll get a vertical view of the action complete with highlights and alternate camera angles to enhance the experience. If you're watching on a TV, tablet, or computer, you'll see every camera angle on the rink at once. So if you want to see Ilia Malanin or Evan Bates land a jump from a new angle, or catch a closer look at the latest Team USA hockey save, you can catch it from new camera angles. It's the next best thing to literally being rinkside.
