Peacock Unveils Game-Changing Features for the 2026 Winter Olympics
From Rinkside Live to Multiview, Peacock is taking you right on the ice for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
For 17 action-packed days in February, we're ready to be locked into the 2026 Winter Olympics. And Peacock is making your job as a dedicated spectator more interactive (and exciting!) than ever before.
NBC and Peacock's exclusive coverage officially kicks off on February 6 with the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, which is set to feature a performance by Mariah Carey. Hosted by TODAY co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, NBC Sports commentator Terry Gannon, and three-time gold medalist Shaun White, the traditional ceremony marks the beginning of a weeks-long competition of the world's most elite athletes in winter sports. That's right, extraordinary displays of athleticism in snowboarding, curling, hockey, figure skating, alpine skiing, and more are on the way.

And while you watch celebrated Olympians pull off a triple axel or zip down a snowy mountain at lightning speed, Snoop Dogg will also be providing his iconic commentary on all the action that unfolds in Italy. The Voice Season 28 Coach will team up with NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico to unpack the biggest moments from the Winter Games. What's more, Snoop has joined Team USA as an Honorary Coach, lending his "signature humor and heart to help motivate" this year's athletes.
TLDR: There's a lot to look forward to when the 2026 Winter Olympics officially begin, and Peacock has you covered. We are your ultimate destination for the Games. Looking to just casually watch the competition? Peacock is streaming every event — yes, every one! — live and on-demand. Want breakdowns of the schedules and medal standings? NBC Insider and Peacock Blog will be publishing articles all month updating you on the latest from Milan. And if you want to go past just watching the Games, Peacock has some exciting features that make it seem like you’re on the ice. Download the app and see for yourself — and read a little more about some of the coolest features, below.
Multiview
Between snowboarding, figure skating, and all the new sports added to the 2026 Winter Olympics, there are dozens of events you won't want to miss — and that's where Peacock's Multiview feature comes in handy. Rather than potentially missing some major moments, Peacock's Multiview allows you to watch multiple live Olympic events on one screen simultaneously.
Multiview stole the show in Paris, and it will be better than ever with this year’s Winter Olympics. With Discovery Multiview, you can watch up to four different sporting events all at once. Curated by the NBC Sports team, rest assured you won’t miss any of the key action with this feature. Peacock also offers Traditional Multiview, showcasing the action within one sport (e.g. curling or hockey), giving you a unique perspective. With Multiview, you get to control what you want to watch. Fans can easily bring any of the views full screen at any time.
This feature is perfect for when: Alpine skiing and bobsledding are happening at the same time, and you can’t bring yourself to choose just one to watch.
Rinkside Live
Peacock's new Rinkside Live feature will make you feel like you're watching the latest hockey game or figure skating event from right outside the rink. (Can't you just smell the ice?) Users will enjoy a dynamic vertical view on their phones, plus live highlights and multiple camera angles, alongside the traditional broadcast. Watching on your TV, tablet, or laptop? You can see all camera angles simultaneously via Rinkside and feel so close to the action, you may as well be in it!
Click on Rinkside Live on either Peacock’s homepage or the Olympics hub to be taken to this cool new feature.
This feature is perfect for when: You want to see Ilia Malinin’s quadruple axel up close. From camera angles that put you right next to the athlete.
Can't Miss Highlights
With the 2026 Winter Olympics happening multiple time zones away in Italy, Peacock's Can't Miss Highlights will help you stay on top of all the action at your convenience. Available on the Peacock mobile app, users can swipe through vertical stories, just like you would on Instagram, to get quick recaps of the Games or other big moments.
This feature is perfect for when: You need to catch up on that Laila Edwards hockey play everyone’s talking about.

Plus: As the first-ever Gold Zone Analyst, 2014 Sochi Olympics bronze medalist Ashley Wagner will be joining to provide additional insights, too.
This feature is perfect for when: You want to maximize your Olympics experience without worrying about choosing which events to watch. Our hosts guide you through a curated, high-octane journey of every must-see moment.
Prediction Games
Want to weigh in on things like Lindsey Vonn's Olympic comeback or share your predictions about who will take home the gold in this year's live figure skating events? You'll want to check out Peacock's Prediction Games, an interactive experience where you can guess outcomes, track results, and more. Available on mobile, you can also test your Olympics knowledge with trivia questions on history, sports, athletes, and interesting facts.
Be on the lookout for the Trivia Games on January 24, February 5, February 14, and February 23.
