Eurovision is the world’s largest music competition, and organized by the European Broadcasting Union. Each year, members of the European Broadcasting Union and invited associates are eligible to participate. Each broadcaster — representing their respective country — submits one original song with a maximum length of three minutes. The track, which has to have been released after a certain date to help prevent songs from becoming too popular before the event, can be performed by up to six artists.
Eurovision originated in 1956 and was created to bring audiences and countries together. The 2026 version marks the 70th time Eurovision has taken place.
