What do you do when you realize your brain’s been hacked? In Peacock’s new Original thriller, The Copenhagen Test, Simu Liu plays an analyst who discovers he’s been compromised. Caught between his agency and his hackers, his character is forced to play both sides as he figures out who is behind his demise and to find out who his true allies are.
Peacock announced the premiere date for the upcoming series, dropping a dramatic teaser and the thriller’s first official photos.

What is The Copenhagen Test about?
Created by Thomas Brandon (Legacies), the espionage thriller follows first-generation Chinese American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu), who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.

Is there a trailer for The Copenhagen Test?
Peacock released a teaser at New York Comic Con on Sunday, Oct 12 to whet everyone’s appetite. In the intriguing first look, Liu’s Alexander Hale defends himself after he’s brought in for questioning about where his loyalty lies. “I would never knowingly betray my own country,” he says firmly as he slams the leather dossier down on the table, amid flashes of explosions and knife fights.

Brandon serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside Jennifer Yale (See, Outlander). Executive producers also include Liu, James Wan (The Conjuring Universe, M3GAN), Michael Clear (Archive 81, M3GAN), Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I Know What You Did Last Summer), Mark Winemaker, and director Jet Wilkinson.
