Does Chloe Bailey really play violin in Strung?
Yes, she does! Bailey comes from a musical family which includes her younger sister Halle Bailey, who starred as Ariel in the live-action The Little Mermaid. Chloe told the Boston Herald that she and the violin go way back to her middle school years.
“I played, in fifth and sixth grade, for two years in orchestra,” the actress explained. "Then I changed to the choir. So it was nice being able to play that instrument again as we were filming."
She added, “The very first scene that we ever shot was the opening scene in the film, where I have my nightmare, and I’m playing the Mendelssohn. That was like a test and I’m really happy I was able to pull it off.”
After you catch Strung, be sure to check out Peacock’s deep library of other thrillers including The Killer, When Love Kills: The Felicia Blakely Story, The Break of Dawn and many more!
