Eric Nam's New Music Video Stars a Shirtless Rob in Overalls and a Cowboy Hat

The Traitors star serves up revenge in his new music video.

It hasn't even been a week since professional snake wrangler Rob Rausch (Love Island USA) was anointed as The Traitors Season 4 victor, and revenge is already being served.

How to Watch

Stream The Traitors Thursdays at 9/8c exclusively on Peacock.

Rausch was only the second Traitor winner in the history of the game, and he won by convincing every Faithful that he was one of them. He even recruited dedicated Faithful Eric Nam, convinced him they would go to the Fire of Truth together and win the game, only to betray him and Banish Eric from the game in the finale.

But now Nam's having the last laugh with his brand-new song "How The Fire Started."  Nam's music video has an old-school Western vibe, features some of his Faithful friends and the ultimate Traitor, Rob, whose wardrobe loses pieces as the song proceeds.

Who from The Traitors Season 4 are in Eric Nam's video?

Eric Nam rustled up the help of his fellow Faithful friends: Maura Higgins (Love Island UK), Natalie Anderson (Survivor), Ron Funches (Comedian/Actor), and Yam Yam Arocho (Survivor). They all play moody cowpokes on Nam's farm toiling away at chores. Well, not Maura, as they seethe over "Robby Bobby" living his best life, carefree and riding a horse.

Do Eric Nam's lyrics for "How The Fire Started" reference The Traitors?

Not specifically, but there's plenty of subtext. As a reminder, filming for The Traitors in Scotland happened in May of 2025 and once players were "Banished" or "Murdered" from the game, they were sent home by production and told to remain silent until Season 4 started airing in January 2026

Nam's had eight months to quietly stew about the outcome of Season 4 and he's clearly funneled that into "How The Fire Started," a guitar-driven, dow tempo bop about calling out a liar.

Here's a sampler of the chorus: "You had a chance to tell the truth. You knew the right thing to do. So how can you turn and walk away from a fire you started?"

How long after The Traitors did Eric Nam come up with "How The Fire Started"?

Nam recently told EW that the  "How The Fire Started" music video took 10 days to shoot and about two weeks to complete in post production. And the first person he called to participate was Rob because he inspired the video idea.

“I had this song, it's about betrayal, being stabbed in the back, and it couldn't have happened in a more perfect way,” Eric detailed to EW. “I called him and I was like, ‘Hey, I have this idea. Would you be open to this?’ And he was like, ‘This is the least I could do, like, the least I could do for you. So yes.'"

And in a bit of apt karma, in the video all of the Faithful hitch "Robby Bobby" up to a post, douse him in gasoline and cut the clasps of his famous overalls. Nam said he gave the scissors to the most deserving of the cast. “I wanted to give Maura the scissors to cut it off because I was like, ‘I think you deserve the scissors to go about it,'" Nam said.
