- Who are the longest running SNL cast members?
- As of 2025, the longest-running cast member in Saturday Night Live history is Kenan Thompson, who joined the show in 2003 and has remained for more than 22 seasons. Following him is Darrell Hammond, who appeared from 1995 to 2009 across 14 seasons and later became the show’s announcer. Seth Meyers served for 13 seasons, from 2001 to 2014, notably as head writer and “Weekend Update” anchor before moving on to host Late Night with Seth Meyers. Other long-tenured cast members include Fred Armisen (2002–2013), Kate McKinnon (2012–2022), Aidy Bryant (2012–2022), and Cecily Strong (2012–2022), each serving around 10 seasons.
