American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes premiered on Peacock on July 31, 2023.

Cody Rhodes is the son of legendary WWE superstar Dusty Rhodes. In 2006, he joined the family business and performed under the WWE banner, however, after 10 years of highs and lows he departed and dubbed himself “The American Nightmare”. After six years, Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 in pursuit of becoming a WWE Champion. A few months later, he suffered a pectoral injury and managed to wrestle an entire match at WWE Hell in a Cell, which he ended up winning. Following the match, he had surgery and worked his way back into the ring at the Royal Rumble, which led to his match against Roman Reigns in WrestleMania 39.
