"Welcome to Ashfield Place!" Keke Palmer (Password, Nope) is about to experience some serious suburban paranoia up close and personal as she leads Peacock's brand-new mystery/comedy series, The 'Burbs.

How to Watch

All eight episodes of the The 'Burbs drop Sunday, February 8, exclusively on Peacock.

A contemporary reimagining of Joe Dante's 1989 cult movie of the same name, this eight-episode series finds Palmer's young mother Samira and her husband Rob (Jack Whitehall) moving from the city to his parent's old neighborhood, which just so happens to be billed as the "safest town in America." But is it?

What is Peacock's new series 'The Burbs about?

The cast stands on a porch and looks out concernedly on The Burbs Episode 102.

Reimagined by showrunner Celeste Hughey (Palm RoyaleDead to Me), The 'Burbs is a fresh and funny exploration of the secrets that hide inside the pristine homes out in the suburbs.

Per the series synopsis, "The 'Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood."

In the new trailer, we get a better look at the Ashfield Place residents, who are definitely all up in each other's business. And the busybody vibe gets more intense once the worn down Victorian across from Samira and Rob's house gets bought by a very odd man (Justin Kirk). Did he buy it because the house is infamous for a supposed murder? Samira gets swept up in discovering more about the mysterious buyer, and the history of the house. She enlists Rob and some of her neighbors to snoop into the small town secrets better left untouched.
