Put on your detective hats. Keke Palmer is on the hunt for the truth in Peacock’s new Original series, The ‘Burbs. Inspired by the 1989 cult classic, Palmer plays a young suburban wife who gets enamored with the empty dilapidated house across the street and embarks on a sleuthing mission to find out the truth.

Peacock has set the official premiere date for the upcoming mystery comedy series, releasing the first teaser and photos.

When does The ‘Burbs premiere?

All eight episodes of the The ‘Burbs drop Sunday, Feb 8, exclusively on Peacock.

What is The ‘Burbs about?

The eight-episode mystery comedy series is inspired by the 1989 horror-comedy film of the same name from director Joe Dante and writer Dana Olsen. The movie starred Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern, and Carrie Fisher.

Set in present-day suburbia, Peacock’s The ‘Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband's childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.
