Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming four-episode program.  

When does Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson premiere? 

Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson premieres Tuesday, Aug 19 at 10p ET/PT on NBC. Subsequent one-hour episodes air Aug 26, Sept 2, and Sept 9 on NBC.  

All four episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the day after they air.  

What is Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson?  

In Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson, Clarkson will merge her interviewing and musical background to engage in heartfelt and unfiltered conversations with celebrities to examine their music and lives off the stage. The three-time Grammy® winner will sit down with today’s top artists to chat about their musical inspirations as well as their personal lives, giving viewers a front-row pass. The show will also dive deeper into the artists‘ lives and how their art has shaped them. 

The four-episode special will also feature musical performances in an intimate, unplugged setting.   

Who are the musical guests appearing on the show?  

The Jonas Brothers will be the first musical guest to appear on Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson in the first episode streaming Aug 20 on Peacock. Their episode will be followed by Gloria Estefan on Aug 27, Teddy Swims on Sept 3, and Lizzo on Sept 10.  

What is the origin of the Songs & Stories segment?  

Songs & Stories originated as a segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The daytime talk show segment included in-depth conversations and musical performances with Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Alanis Morisette, and P!nk, to name just a few.  

In one memorable segment, Lambert and Clarkson surprised the audience with a cover of Chappell Roan’s breakout hit, “Good Luck, Babe!” that went viral. In another segment, Morisette and Clarkson duetted some of Morisette’s iconic songs, including “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic,” and “You Oughta Know.”
