Your next binge-watch obsession is just around the corner.

How to Watch

Watch the series premiere of PONIES on Thursday, January 15 on Peacock.

PONIES, Peacock's newest spy thriller series, stars Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Haley Lu Richardson (The White Lotus) as new CIA undercover agents Bea and Twila.

And how's this for turning the genre completely upside-down: The series' plot revolves around the deaths of their CIA operative husbands in an apparent plane crash, leading the women to go undercover themselves as they quickly realize they just may know a thing or two about international espionage. (The series' name is derived from "persons of no interest" in intelligence speak.)

In other words, you've never seen spies quite like this before. The series is set in 1971 Moscow, giving the set and costume design a decidedly Cold War-era flair.

According to one of the series' stars, fans will be surprised by the show.

"People will get what they expect and what they want out of a show like this — and so much more that they would never expect," Richardson explained in a November 2025 featurette. "It's sexy. It's crazy. It's dark... It's like, wild... It actually gets pretty interesting."

The premiere of PONIES comes hot on the heels of the success of another recent Peacock Original, All Her Fault, starring Sarah Snook as a suburban mother who won't stop hunting for her kidnapped son.

If you haven't watched All Her Fault yet, there's still plenty of time to binge that and another new spy show, The Copenhagen Test, before the release of PONIES.
