Season 8 of Love Island USA made some house calls when it came to finding Islanders this season, as Season 6's Daniela Ortiz-Rivera reveals she's related to one of the Casa Amor Bombshells, Corey Sawyer Jr.
First, OG Islander Zach Georgiou revealed he is the younger brother of Season 7 Islander Charlie, and now, we have cousins in the franchise mix! Daniela was a Season 6 Islander who entered the Villa as a Casa Amor Bombshell and coupled up with Love Island USA and Traitors icon Rob Rausch before she was eventually eliminated. Now that Casa Amor is in full swing on Season 8, Daniela took to social media to gush over the arrival of her cousin at the Villa.
"My cousin is one of the Casa Amor boys, Corey," Daniela shared in an Instagram video after Episode 18. "And I feel like I can finally breathe because I was honestly so anxious not knowing if he was actually gonna go on Love Island or not. I'm so happy that he is."

Upon hearing the online buzz surrounding the Bombshell boys, Daniela shared some details about her cousin for those eager to learn more about the Season 8 Islander.
"He's genuinely one of the best guys I know. Not to be biased, but he's like my guy best friend, and I love him to death," Daniela shared. "So I'm really happy, especially because we watched Love Island [Season 7] together last year. So I'm so excited to watch it with the rest of the family, now, this year."

Daniela set the record straight on rumors she was hearing online, confirming Corey is a proud uncle of several nieces and nephews, which the Casa Amor Bombshell considers, “basically his kids.”
“With that being said, this man has been surrounded by women his whole life; Latino women. And he has always been like a big brother to me growing up, he always had my back," Daniela said, expressing pride in her family bringing Puerto Rican representation to the Villa.
"I can't wait for you guys to see Corey's personality," Daniela shared, listing off some of his most heartwarming qualities. "He's a good man with good morals, he loves God, extremely family-oriented, and a goober. He is a true gentleman to his core, and I hope [producers] show that, and hope that they show his personality. And I can't wait for you guys to see."
