As a new group of Islanders makes their way into the Villa on Love Island USA Season 8, Rob Rausch is sharing some sage advice only an experienced alum can.
In an interview with Parade ahead Love Island USA Season 8's premiere on Peacock, the former Season 5 and Season 6 Islander shared his advice for every man and woman who will be competing for love — and their share of life-changing prize money.

"Just be yourself," Rob advised. "I mean, it's really all you can do on a show like that. Just stay true to yourself. You're going to get caught up in a lot of mumbo jumbo, because you're going to get put in a lot of situations you would never get put in in real life, and it will be hard to be yourself at times. When in your life are you going to be in this situation? You're not."
Rob Rausch's advice for Love Island USA's Season 8 Islanders: "Do your best to take a beat"
The 27-year-old, who lasted only a few days in the Villa in Season 5 after entering as a Casa Amor Bombshell and who made it all the way to Day 30 the following season, is a veteran of the Peacock reality series, to say the least. And in addition to appearing in two seasons of Love Island USA, Rob also competed in Season 4 of The Traitors — and won the whole thing!

In Rob's mind, staying true to oneself is something that every Season 8 Islander should prioritize.
"Just do your best to take a beat and look within yourself and do what is right for you and everyone that's around you and what's authentic," he told Parade. "Because at the end of the day, if you are authentic, you know you can walk away and have no regrets. But when you do some things that are a little bit out of character, that's when you’re going to be like, 'Damn!'"
