Legally Blonde (2001)

Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (2001)

The first rule of Legally Blonde: Don't underestimate a law student wearing pink! Reese Witherspoon made a forever icon out of sorority girl/legal eagle Elle Woods. Based on the real life story of novelist Amanda Brown's experiences as a blonde law student attending Stanford Law School, this hilarious comedy dissects the preconceived notions of what intelligence "looks like," and celebrates being an unabashed "girlie girl" in a man's world.

Community (2009 - 2015)

Community

The gold standard of community college comedies, NBC's Community ran for six seasons, and creator Dan Harmon (Rick & Morty) is still planning for a movie. Set on the fictional campus of Greendale Community College, Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) is the ringleader of a misfit study group of non-traditional students trying to figure out their lives. The hilarious sitcom's ensemble is stacked with comedy talent including Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong, Chevy Chase, and even John Oliver.

Stumble

Stumble

For those who love a great mockumentary style comedy, look no further than NBC's Stumble. A single-camera comedy about the ultra-competitive world of junior college cheerleading, it centers on Courteney Potter, one of the winningest coaches in college cheer history. However, her career implodes when a video of her partying with her team goes viral and she's fired. She has to start again at the bottom coaching the far less polished Headltston State Junior College Buttons Cheer Squad.
