Season 4's first three episodes are now streaming on Peacock, and they'll be followed by two more on Monday, December 1, and the final three episodes on Monday, December 8.

Bel-Air Season 4 cast

Jabari Banks as Will Smith

Bel-Air Will

Jabari Banks is a Philadelphia native just like the real Will Smith (Men in Black), Banks' character’s namesake and the star of the original series that Bel-Air is reimagined from, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Banks was a recent grad from Philly’s University of the Arts when he was cast to lead the Peacock drama series.

Banks’ Will Smith started the series as a smart and talented 16-year-old basketball player from West Philadelphia who got caught up trouble. Will was then packed up by his mother and sent to his Aunt Viv and Uncle Philip’s home in a ritzy neighborhood of Los Angeles to set him back on track. Will is now the co-founder of a lifestyle brand (with his cousin Carlton), which they’re desperately trying to turn into their future.

Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks

Bel-Air Season 4

Born in Wales and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Adrian Holmes is a very busy actor. In the U.S., he became a familiar face for his appearances on many shows on The CW such as Smallville and Arrow. Most recently, he was a featured actor in V Wars (2019) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

As the patriarch of the Banks family, Phillip Banks is a mega successful lawyer but his home life was less than perfect. The addition of Will under his roof helped him get reconnected to his community and his family.

Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks

Bel-Air Viv Phil

A Florida native, Cassandra Freeman grew up performing and studied at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. One of her first film roles was in Spike Lee’s Inside Man (2006), and she continued to score onscreen work, including in many television series like Luke Cage and The Last O.G

Her Bel-Air character, Vivian Banks, is a fierce protector of her family and active in the arts. She is a role model for Will and her three children, Carlton, Hilary, and young Ashley. In the third season, Vivian shored up her marriage to Phillip and found a candidate for the prestigious Neeman Fellowship.

Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks

Bel-Air Season 4

Gifted since his youth, Olly Sholotan went to a performing arts high school in Houston, Texas, and then the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. He writes his own music and directs some of his music videos.

In Bel-Air, Sholotan's Carlton Banks is a charmer, just like the character was in the original series. But Carlton in the drama series comes off as more human and relatably flawed. Carlton has struggled with addiction problems and in Season 3, came out of rehab having to make amends and take his sobriety journey seriously. He’s got a business with Will and he’s making strides to fix his life.

Coco Jones as Hilary Banks

Bel-Air Hilary

The daughter of ex-NFL player Mike Jones and session vocalist Javonda Jones, Coco Jones got her start competing on Radio Disney's Next Big Thing (2010–11), which led to her getting a record deal and appearing in Disney Channel films like Let It Shine (2012). She later signed with Def Jam Recordings and released her first studio album, Why Not More?, in 2025. Jones was an advisor for Team Legend during The Voice Season 27.

The eldest Banks child, Hilary is an aspiring social media influencer who has experienced both the highs and lows of that career path. Season 3 found her engaged to her old sweetheart Lamarcus Alton (Justin Cornwell) but her unresolved feelings for Jazz (Jordan L. Jones) created drama leading up to the wedding. In the Season 3 cliffhanger, Hilary discovered Lamarcus unconscious in their honeymoon bed.

Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks

Bel-Air Ashley

Akira Akbar started out as a child model but her acting career took off when she was cast to play 11-year-old Monica Rambeau in Captain Marvel (2019). She’s appeared in television shows like Criminal Minds, This Is Us, and Good Trouble.

As the youngest Banks, Ashley is often forgotten in the turmoil created by her older siblings and Will. She hit her teens hard in Season 3, fed up with being sidelined or ignored by her family. She turned to music to get her complex feelings out and started a romantic relationship with Eli (Michael Govan Hackett), her nonbinary friend.

Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey Thompson

Bel-Air Season 4

Born in London, Jimmy Akingbola got his start in British theater productions, including playing the title role in Othello. On British television, he’s a beloved comedy and dramatic actor, having appeared in shows like Rev., Holby City, and Holby Blue. He had a guest role on Ted Lasso, and he also had a starring role on The Tower, a British police procedural.

On Bel-Air, Akingbola plays the Banks’ house manager, Geoffrey Thompson, who was originally from Jamaica before moving to London and then Los Angeles. It's there that issues from his past caught up with him in Season 3. Geoffrey has a son, Frederick, and reunited with his ex, Penelope. All three went back to London at the end of Season 3.

Jordan L. Jones as Jazz

Bel-Air Season 4

The son of actress Ptosha Storey (The Young and the Restless, The Oval), Jordan L. Jones followed in his mom’s footsteps with his acting career. He had a starring role on the sitcom Rel, and has also appeared in shows like Shameless and The Rookie.

In Bel-Air, Jones' Jazz character was initially introduced as the cab driver who first brought Will to his aunt and uncle's ritzy mansion. Jazz returned as a recurring character that befriended Will in L.A. He owns a record shop and has a huge crush on Hilary. Her feelings for him almost affected her Season 3 wedding.

Simone Joy Jones as Lisa Wilkes

Bel-Air Season 4

From North Carolina, Simone Joy Jones started acting when she was a tween, landing a role in the 2011 crime thriller film, The Son of No One. She later appeared in series like American Rust and had a role in Billy Porter’s feature film directorial debut, Anything's Possible

Her Bel-Air character, Lisa Wilkes, is Carlton’s ex who becomes interested in Will. An athlete who excels in swimming, she connects with Will’s basketball passion. She’s got a complicated home life, but turns to her godmother, Vivian, for advice and counsel. She and Will have a complex relationship despite their feelings for each other, so it remains to be seen if they’ll end up together.

The first three episodes of Season 4 of Bel-Air are now streaming on Peacock. They'll be followed by two more new episodes on Monday, December 1, and then three final episodes on Monday, December 8.
