While the opening ceremony is on Friday, March 6, some of the competitions, including wheelchair curling, begin on Wednesday, March 4. The fun continues through the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, March 15.

The Milan Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games can be viewed on NBC, Peacock, NBCUniversal’s digital platforms, as well as on CNBC and USA Network.

Every event of the 2026 Paralympics will stream live and on-demand on Peacock. This includes all 79 medal events across six sports, as well as all linear programming, full-event replays, originals, clips, and more!

What to expect at the 2026 Paralympics
More than 600 athletes from about 50 countries will be competing across 79 medal events in six sports: Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboard, and wheelchair curling.
On Wednesday, March 4, the Paralympic Torch Relay will carry the Paralympic Flame to Venice, continuing on to Padova on March 5 before reaching Verona on March 6 for the Paralympic Opening Ceremony. More than 500 torchbearers will carry the Flame.
How to watch the Paralympics Opening Ceremony
In addition to streaming on Peacock, the Opening Ceremony will also air live on USA Network on March 6 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you can't catch the event live, you can also watch it on NBC on Saturday, March 7 at 8 p.m.

The Opening Ceremony, which will take place at the historic Arena di Verona, will feature the world's first DJ with a bionic hand. Michele Specchiale, aka DJ Miky Bionic, is the first DJ in the world to perform with an advanced myoelectric prosthesis.
"After losing his left arm in a serious accident at a very young age, he transformed his experience into a path of personal and professional rebirth, becoming a point of reference in the Italian musical and Paralympic scene," reads an announcement from the International Paralympic Committee.
