Get ready for another round of deceit and drama! Less than a month after the premiere of the record-breaking second season, Peacock has announced that The Traitors will officially return for Season 3.

After the success of the first season, which recently won an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, Season 2, Peacock’s most-watched reality series, has become a full-on cultural phenomenon, with an iconic cast full of reality royalty.

What is The Traitors about?

In The Traitors, 22 of the most competitive reality stars and famous faces head to a castle deep in the Scottish Highlands to play the ultimate murder mystery game. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the contestants work together on a series of grueling challenges and exhilarating missions to earn a prize of a quarter of a million dollars. But the contestants need to be careful; not everyone is who they seem.

Hidden among the contestants are three “traitors” whose goal is to eliminate the other contestants, “the faithful,” and win the prize for themselves.

Under the cover of darkness, the traitors will eliminate the faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the faithful try to uncover the traitors and banish them from the game. If the faithful contestants banish all the traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if one or more traitors make it to the end, they will steal all the money.

It’s a high-stakes whodunit, and with $250,000 on the line, no one is safe.
