If there’s one thing The Real Housewives do frighteningly well (aside from feuds and iconic one-liners), it’s spooky season. From cozy fall activities to fa-boo-lous parties and shade darker than a black cat, these episodes have everything you need to get in the Halloween spirit and maybe even find some costume inspo. So grab your ghoul-friends and get binge-watching.

1. The Real Housewives of New York City, "Stop and Throw the Roses" (Season 13, Episodes 6 and 7)
During a fall trip to the Hamptons, Luann throws a 1970s Halloween beauty pageant, where the show must go on despite political tensions permeating the group and Leah struggling with the loss of her grandmother. Representing their respective stomping grounds in the Big Apple, the ladies compete for the crown in a battle of talents. Luann shows off her baton-twirling skills, while Ramona does an arm workout to flex her muscles. Leah dazzles with hula hoop spinning, Heather with her cheerleading skills, and Ebony with a spoken word. Sonja wraps up the show with a mime performance of charades. Ultimately, Miss Downtown (aka Leah) is crowned the winner, blissfully unaware that it was rigged by Luann to give her a boost.

2. The Real Housewives of Atlanta, "Nightmare on Peachtree Street" (Season 10, Episode 18)
Eva throws a Halloween party to celebrate her birthday and her official residence in Atlanta. Set in a decommissioned church, things aren’t exactly peaceful as Nene and Kim continue to clash, and Porsha has issues with almost everyone. Following Kim’s claims earlier in the season that Nene’s house is infested with cockroaches, Nene has the last laugh as she arrives at the party dressed as an exterminator with Greg in tow as a giant roach. Cynthia is almost unrecognizable as rapper 50 Cent, or “50 Cynt,” remaining in character throughout the night, dancing with the ladies and taking home first place in the costume contest.

3. The Real Housewives of New Jersey, "Drop Dead Gorgas" (Season 3, Episode 2)
In the early days of the Gorga-Giudice roller-coaster, Teresa spends a fall afternoon carving pumpkins with Caroline, Dolores, and the kids in Jacqueline’s backyard as she details the fight that broke out at her nephew’s christening. Keeping the drama at bay with separate celebrations, Melissa and Joe take their kids trick-or-treating before going to the club for with Kathy, Richie, and both Kims. Melissa dons a sexy catsuit while Joe does an unintentional impersonation of his sister, dressing as a stereotypical Jersey woman. On the other side of town, Teresa flies around her house as “Super T,” getting her rockstar girls ready for the party she and Joe are hosting, wishing her brother was also in attendance.

4. The Real Housewives of New York City, "Unfashionably Late" (Season 2, Episode 10)
When Kelly throws a Halloween party, she crosses the line from fashionably late into full-blown faux pas. The ladies are less than impressed with the cash-bar event and even more frustrated with the hostess for not being present. “I’m never wrong about people,” Bethenny says. “Kelly is in her own little land and roller girl doesn’t care.” When Kelly finally does arrive, she’s upset to find that none of her friends waited for her.

5. The Real Housewives of Potomac, "Good Will Haunting" (Season 4, Episode 12)
To celebrate Halloween and Juan’s 40th birthday, Robyn invites everyone to a festive jaunt in a haunted forest. Sans costumes, the gang hangs out around a crackling bonfire and take a pass through the haunted house, where Candiace yells at the actors not to jump at her and Karen flips the bird when one tries to spook her. Regrouping with a drink in the saloon, the ladies can't help but gossip, until it’s time to sing “Happy Birthday” and cut the cake.

6. The Real Housewives of New Jersey, "House of Horrors" (Season 11, Episode 13)
In another Halloween birthday bash, Margaret celebrates spooky season and her husband Joe’s birthday, where costumes and negative COVID tests are required. Chaos ensues when Jennifer gets “drunk as a skunk,” and accusations fly about Joe Gorga. Melissa defends her man, despite having her own issues with him.

7. The Real Housewives of New York City, "Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun" (Season 10, Episode 1)
Dorinda throws a Halloween party at the Dream Hotel to bring the girls back together, requesting everyone dress up as famous living female icons. Carole understands half of the assignment, coming dressed as Amelia Earhart, while Tinsley, Ramona, and Sonja pay homage to pop icons Madonna, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga, respectively. Donning a version of the bubble dress that Gaga wore on tour and on SNL, Dorinda proudly tells partygoers that her friend and costume designer of the original SNL getup made it for her. As the night wears on and the drinks flow, SNL becomes “NSL” and Andy Samberg becomes “Adam Sandler” in Dorinda’s retelling.

8. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, "Meet Rinna Jayne" (Season 9, Episode 16)
“Farrahween” becomes a holiday in itself when Kyle throws an epic Halloween bash for her eldest daughter Farrah’s 30th birthday. Kyle pulls out all the stops, including a live DJ and ferris wheel in her backyard. The crew brings their costume game, with Teddi and Edwin dressed as the Joker and Harley Quinn, and PK as a very convincing Karl Lagerfeld, but Lisa Rinna takes it to the next level when she shows up dressed as Erika Jayne. “When I dress up for costume parties, I go one hundred million percent,” Lisa brags of her epic ‘fit. While in her Erika Jayne persona, Lisa confronts Kim for “Bunnygate,” but finally breaks character for a heart-to-heart where the two Housewives agree to forgive one another and put their issues behind them.

9. The Real Housewives of Dallas, "Face to Two-Face" (Season 2, Episode 3)
When Stephanie throws a costume party at her house, LeeAnne takes it as an opportunity to send a not-so-subtle message to the hostess, dressing as a two-faced Stephanie. Stephanie’s husband clues her in and threatens to throw LeeAnne out of their home, but Stephanie maintains her composure, even as LeeAnne confronts her.

10. The Real Housewives of New York City, "Eat, Drink and Be Scary" (Season 12, Episode 12)
At a voodoo-themed Halloween party, Ramona faces the heat. Sonja has a bone to pick, while Dorinda calls Ramona out for not sharing her birthday party with Sonja. After the confrontation with Dorinda, Ramona escapes. “I feel like I’m in a horror movie,” she says, “I want to get out of here.” The party devolves into chaos.

11. The Real Housewives of Orange County, “Welcome to the Freak Show” (Season 17, Episode 16)
The OC ladies have some fall fun when Taylor invites everyone to a pumpkin patch party, where they pick their own pumpkins to carve with the help of a “carving expert.” Heather opts for a glass of “champs” over the apple cider cinnamon margarita being offered and pays homage to her signature drink in her pumpkin carving. Everyone indulges in the fall spirit, aside from Shannon, who proclaims herself the “scrooge of the fall” and is disgusted to have to pull seeds and gunk out of her pumpkin.

12. The Real Housewives of New York City, “Shalloween” (Season 11, Episode 10)
In the wake of Luann’s cabaret career taking off, she performs as a “nurse gone Madonna” at a Halloween party set in an insane asylum. The ladies come to show their support and wear matching costumes, with Sonja and Tinsley dressed as sexy nurses while Bethenny opts to be a “super angel.” Well past the scheduled showtime of 11p, Bethenny leaves the party early to relieve her babysitter and misses Lu’s performance, which takes place just before midnight. Tinsley and Sonja scoot out immediately after, having fulfilled their friendship duties, and Dorinda is left to tell a displeased Luann that everyone left and that Ramona never showed up.
