[WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD]
Which Islanders were at the Season 7 reunion?
The reunion special brought back 27 Islanders, including the first cast members in the Villa, bombshells, and the Casa Amor guys and gals.
The Islanders who participated in the reunion were Amaya, Bryan, Huda, Chris, Olandria, Nic, Iris, Pepe, Chelley, Ace, Clarke, Taylor, Hannah, T.J., Zac, Elan, J.D., Zak, Austin, Andreina, Jeremiah, Gracyn, Vanna, Jaden, Charlie, CoCo, and Belle-A.
Relationship status updates
The reunion got off to a spicy start when Andy asked Bryan about rumors of him partying with other girls post-Love Island USA, which he won alongside Amaya. He explained that he was paid to host the party, that included a “lapse in judgment” when he gave shots to people at the club. At the reunion, Amaya, who lives in New York City, and Bryan, who is based in Boston, shared that they were making their long-distance relationship work.
Pepe confirmed he was now exclusive with Iris, who said that a conversation with T.J. brought her closure.
Andy asked Chris and Huda about how they felt seeing each other at the reunion after their final date on Love Island USA went up in flames. Huda said she felt fine, but Chris admitted he felt “weird” and was not on good terms with Huda since leaving the Villa.
Nic and Olandria defended their relationship, stating that their romantic bond was genuine and that their journey was worth the wait. They shared that they were not letting “outside pressure” dictate their relationship. The couple planned “future dates” checking off a few bucket list items, such as skydiving. Nic revealed he had not spoken to his other Love Island USA connection, Cierra, since leaving the Villa. Olandria also said that when she watched the show, she felt that Taylor had led her on, prompting an apology from Taylor.
Confrontations with Casa Amor
Although Jaden and Austin left the Villa together as a couple, things have been rocky for them in the outside world. At the reunion, Jaden wished that Austin told her that he would be going on other dates and seeing other girls instead of feeling blindsided. Jaden confirmed that they are no longer dating and that both she and Austin are now single.
Releasing the tapes
Huda and Chelley addressed their squabble over Huda bringing Chris back to the Villa after Casa Amor. The Islanders watched unseen footage where Huda explained to Chelley that she wanted to bring Chris back so both of them could explore him.
The Islanders also watched previously unreleased footage of Chelley, Cierra, Huda, and Olandria unanimously voting off Hannah. Hannah burst into tears while watching the girls vote her off, but once she composed herself, she said that even though it hurt, she was grateful that “beautiful” connections.
OG Islanders tell all
The first Islander to leave the Villa, Belle-A, described how surreal the support had been once she left the Villa. She and Nic may have had an early connection in the Villa, but Belle-A was ultimately happy for Nic and Olandria’s blossoming romance.
Jeremiah dished about #pancakegate, aka the time when he served Huda an uncooked pancake. and defended himself against the love-bombing accusations. Huda acknowledged, “There’s definitely things I should have worked on and that’s those things I’m addressing in my life now.”
Belle-A shot down rumors that she and Jeremiah were a couple, saying she wanted to focus on herself.
Ringleader-Gate
After the Islanders watched Ace and Taylor voting to send Jeremiah home while Nic voted out Austin, they discussed whether Ace was the ringleader or not. Ace maintained that he could never “ringlead” grown men, but Jeremiah believed Ace influenced certain situations and conversations against him.
