How to Watch World Figure Skating Championships 2026 on Peacock
Figure skating's brightest stars gather to close out their season, and you can catch it all on Peacock.
The Olympics may put figure skating in front of its biggest global audience, but it's not actually the culmination of the skating season. That honor goes to the World Figure Skating Championships, held every year to crown the best skaters in the world.
So, if you're missing Olympics-level figure skating coverage, get ready, because NBC and Peacock are bringing you incredible action from the last international competition of the season.

How to watch the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships
NBC Sports' coverage of the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships, featuring many of the top skaters you just saw at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, is set to begin bright and early at 6:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday March 25, beginning with the women's short program. The competition will continue throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend, culminating in an exhibition gala on Sunday.
Portions of the competition, including highlights from the biggest names at this year's Worlds, will broadcast in encore and pre-taped form on NBC and USA Network, but if you want to catch every single skate live, Peacock is the place to be. From March 25 through March 29 you'll get all of this year's World Championship skating straight to your preferred devices.

Who's competing at the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships?
So, which skating stars can you expect to see in competition at the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships? Let's start with the biggest names. American team gold medalists Amber Glenn and Ilia Malanin are both set to compete in the women's and men's programs, respectively. Malanin will seek to threepeat at this year's World Championships after winning the men's event in both 2024 and 2025, while Glenn will hope to build on her status as reigning U.S. Champion with a win on the global stage.
But Malanin and Glenn are far from the only major stars at the championships this year. In the men's competition, Milan Cortina silver and bronze medalists Yuma Kagiyama and Shun Sato of Japan will both be on hand, while silver and bronze medalists in the women's competition, Kaori Sakamoto and Ami Nakai, will also skate. Amber Glenn's teammate Isabeau Levito, the 2023 U.S. Champion, is also set to skate. Notably absent, though, is Milan Cortina gold medalist Alysa Liu, who opted to withdraw from the World Championships earlier this month. Because Liu is the 2025 champion, there will be no title defense, and instead the 2026 Worlds will see a new champion in the women's skate.
