Once again, the Bowser family would love nothing more than to defeat Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day), along with our heroes' pals, including Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key).

In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Bowser was taken down by the good guys (and girls) and shrunk down to a miniature size. Black spoke about the evolution of Bowser across both movies in an interview with Fandango.
"It's a humbling experience, what happened in The Super Mario Bros. Movie," Black explained. "Mario and Luigi are on top of the world. It's amazing what can happen by saving the world — you get a boost of confidence. The inverse has happened to Bowser. His ego has shrunken along with his body."
He added, "But there's also a lot of self-reflection, and Bowser is finding a tender side inside of himself. I think he's more in touch with his childhood fears, [his] demons are under control, but he still has a little bubbling rage underneath. But he's definitely come a long way."
Find out exactly how that plays out when The Super Mario Galaxy Movie hits theaters on April 1.
