All About Traitors Star Donna Kelce and Her Incredibly Impressive Banking Career
Mamma Kelce brings a whole lot of skills with her into The Traitors castle.
The Traitors Season 4 player Donna Kelce is one of the 23 celebrity contestants vying to take home the potential $250,000 prize and the title of The Traitors Season 4 victor.
For years, Kelce was widely known as the proud mother of two Super Bowl ring-earning NFL players (whose respective teams The Philadelphia Eagles and The Kansas City Chiefs faced off in recently retired Jason Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
"Being a mom is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life," she said in a 2024 Glamour magazine feature about famous moms. "It’s so much easier to just go to work, but raising children, when they’re totally dependent on you and you’re trying to do the best you can with the limited resources that you have, it’s the most daunting task I’ve ever had to do.
However, her star exploded even more in 2023 when the Swifties caught wind that Travis was dating singer/songwriting superstar Taylor Swift. (The couple got engaged in August 2025.) The explosion of interest in the new couple carried over to "Mamma Kelce," who was thrust into the spotlight every time she shared a stadium box with Swift.

"I don't think this is my life now — I thought, 'This is fleeting, just lean into it, have a great time and it'll be over soon,'" she told TODAY in October of that year. "But that's not the case. I feel like I'm in an alternate universe. I feel like it's morphed into something bigger than I could have ever expected. And especially at my age, you know, my career is over. I'm retired. There are no words for it. It's just mind boggling."
Just three years later, Donna is instantly recognized around the world too. And that means as Kelce enters host Alan Cumming's Scottish castle of ruthless gaming with the rest of the cast, she won't be as under the radar as some of the other players. But Kelce brings with her plenty of worldly experience from her long banking career which could add to her skill-sets in the game.

The 73-year-old spent 22-years developing initiatives around community revitalization, including financing low income housing investments, and supporting small business and minority community opportunities at the Bank One Corporation.
"I was a commercial banker for a bank in several different states," she told Glamour. "I wanted to get ahead. I worked really, really hard. I was a major breadwinner in the family. And I think it’s important for kids to see that a woman can do whatever she wants, but I did stand still too."
But when this season of The Traitors ends, there's a good chance everyone will know Donna Kelce based on how she fared in the game.
How long was Donna Kelce's financial career?
Donna Kelce was born and raised in Ohio. She grew up as a track-and-field participant in high school and then went on to become the first college graduate in her family, getting a degree from Ohio University. She then earned her M.B.A. at Baldwin Wallace University, and went into the financial sector based in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio region.

Over her three decades long career, she rose up the corporate ladder from Equity Underwriter to taking on several management positions. She was a Vice President at Key Bank and then retired in 2021 as a Senior Vice President at Truist financial services. Kelce's fellow players should take into account that she's got decades of assessment skills, the ability to manage others and the ability to work with people from all walks of life.
