About The Good Daughter
Based on Karin Slaughter's standalone 2017 thriller The Good Daughter, the author has adapted her own book into this limited series about a long-simmering mysteries haunting the Quinn family.
The story follows sisters Charlotte (Fahy) and Samantha (Byrne) Quinn, who have spent the last 20 years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence. When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte – now a lawyer like her father – is the first witness on the scene. As the case unfolds and twists through painful memories and buried secrets, what emerges is not just a story of survival, but of enduring ties between a father and his daughters, and the complex bond between sisters.
Fahy and Byrne are supported by an incredible cast of character actors including Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin), Harper Steele (Will & Harper), Paula Malcomson (Deadwood), Jake McDorman (Peacock’s Mrs. Davis) and Olivia Williams (The Crown).
All six episodes of The Good Daughter are directed by Steph Green, known for her prolific work in television helming episodes of major series such as The Americans, Billions, Luke Cage, Ahsoka, and Duster. Green was nominated for a Best Director Emmy in 2020 for the Watchmen episode "Little Fear of Lightning."
The Good Daughter premieres November 12, 2026 exclusively on Peacock, with all six episodes available to stream immediately.
