With the New Year comes an impeccably dressed Alan Cumming strutting the Scottish moors to welcome us all to the start of Season 4 of The Traitors, exclusively on Peacock.
The two-time Emmy-winning series for Outstanding Reality Competition Program is back on this week with 23 contestants, including The Traitors Season 3 returnee Dorinda Medley from The Real Housewives of New York City. Over the course of 11 episodes, the celebs will battle to amass a prize pot worth up to $250,000, and try to determine who amongst them are Traitors and Faithful.

What is the release schedule for The Traitors Season 4?

The Traitors Season 4 debuts with three brand-new, supersized episodes on Thursday, January 8. The following week, Episodes 4 and 5 will debut on January 15.
Starting January 22, single episodes will drop exclusively on Peacock every Thursday until the Season Finale on February 26 (followed by the Season 4 Reunion special episode). See the schedule broken down, below:

How do the contestants play The Traitors?

While there are always some surprises to change up the game play, The Traitors Season 4 continues the classic rules of the competition reality series.
The 23 players amass at a Scottish castle and work together on surprise missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Cumming will secretly select a number of players (typically three to four) to play the role of the Traitors, while the rest remain Faithful. The goal of the Traitors is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the money for themselves.
Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one, while the Faithful try to uncloak the Traitors and banish them from the game during round tables. If the Faithful banish all the Traitors, they share the money. If a Traitor makes it to the end, they steal the winnings.
