The Real Housewives of Orange County Are Back for More, Plus 4 More Picks for the Week

Dive back into two favorite Bravo shows this week and get excited for a fuzzy (but not so warm) new Peacock Original.

By Peacock Staff

We’re in full summer mode here at Peacock, what with Love Island USA bringing the heat over in Fiji, and the 2024 Paris Olympics coming up fast. But in the meantime, there are fresh picks dropping this week and past favorites ripe for sampling. Take a look at what’s in store and what we’re recommending.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season Premiere

That’s right, the ladies of the OC are back with more drama, more tea, and more can’t-miss TV. The OG of the Real Housewives universe is still going strong at 18 seasons and counting. Get ready for fun in the sun of Southern California as the season kicks off with a supersized bang Thursday July 11 at 9p ET on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock.

Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles Season Premiere

The city’s hottest agents are back and feeling a new kind of pressure as the LA luxury real estate market has taken a turn for the worse. Between high interest rates, the “Mansion Tax,” and low inventory, Josh Altman, Josh Flagg, and Tracy Tutor will have to hustle harder than ever to make those all-important sales, while still trying for some semblance of work-life balance. Season 15 premieres Wednesday July 10 at 9p ET and streams next-day on Peacock.

The Hungry Games: Alaska’s Big Bear Challenge

Things are about to get wild with the natural world’s first ever competition show. As the brown bears of Alaska’s Katmai National Park gear up for winter hibernation, they must battle the elements and each other, using brains and brawn to consume three million calories and gain up to 200 pounds in 150 days. This unique Original series documents the lives of these ferocious creatures with a playful competitive spin. Unbeknownst to the salmon-slammin’ bears, their progress is being tracked and ranked for a television audience with narration that combines fascinating facts about bear behavior with clever commentary.  Stream it Thursday July 11, only on Peacock.

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys

Bears are not the only four-legged mammals we’re excited about this week — Tuesday July 9 is National Cow Appreciation Day. Moooo! To mark the occasion, we recommend checking out this fascinating and dramatic Peacock Original reality series about a family of real cowboys doing everything they can to protect the family business, McBee Farm & Cattle, and make it flourish. But the stakes are high in this tough field, and success is anything but guaranteed. Binge the entire season of this captivating look into one of the wildest and most unpredictable businesses in America.

The Fifth Element

The Fifth Element

Summer elicits the desire to watch certain types of movies, and we can’t think of a better summertime movie night pick than this thrilling, hilarious, eye-popping, and utterly unique sci-fi classic from legendary director Luc Besson. In the 23rd century, a New York City cabbie, Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), finds the fate of the world in his hands when Leeloo (a captivating Milla Jovovich) falls into his cab. As the embodiment of the fifth element, Leeloo needs to combine with the other four to keep the approaching Great Evil from destroying the world. Together with Father Vito Cornelius (Ian Holm) and zany broadcaster Ruby Rhod (the scene-stealing Chris Tucker), Dallas must race against time and the wicked industrialist Zorg (Gary Oldman) to save humanity. Do not miss this one.
