When is the 2026 World Cup Final Halftime Show?

The 2026 World Cup Final is set for 3 p.m. ET on Sunday July 19, from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Halftime Show will take place halfway through the Spain vs. Argentina match, though its exact timing depends on stoppages, penalties, and other factors during the match itself.

Who is performing at the 2026 World Cup Halftime Show?

Madonna is seen performing a surprise concert in Times Square

The Halftime Show is set to bring together major musical acts from around the world, including acts from the host nations of the 2026 World Cup. The names begin with Shakira and Burna Boy, who performed at the 2026 World Cup opening match with a rendition of their official 2026 World Cup song "Dai Dai." They'll return to co-headline the Halftime Show.

Yes, we said co-headline, because Shakira and Burna Boy are far from the only major stars taking the stage. American pop legend Madonna will also co-headline the show, alongside K-Pop sensations BTS. On July 8, FIFA announced that Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber will also join the show, adding another huge name to the event.

But even that's not the end of the talent on hand for the Halftime Show. Conductor Gustavo Dudamel, Artistic Director of the New York Philharmonic, will perform, alongside Webby-award winning singing group the PS 22 Chorus, with special guests Coldplay.

The artists are all performing to celebrate the World Cup, but also to promote the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which provides grants to community organizations promoting both education and football around the world. The Fund has already raised $50 million in 2026, with one dollar from every World Cup ticket sold going to the total.
