Make Spring Break Magical With These Stellar Kids TV Shows and Movies on Peacock

Let your imaginations soar with these fantastical romps for the entire family

Spring has sprung, and with the coming season, kids of all ages are headed home for a much-deserved break. To celebrate this time away from school, we’re highlighting some of our favorite kids TV shows and movies available for streaming right now on Peacock. Whether young or young at heart, check out these enchanting family picks for a pleasant and charming viewing experience.  

Kids TV Shows to Watch

1. Dragons: The Nine Realms S5 

Tom Kullserson (Jeremy Shada), Thunder, and their dragon rider friends are soaring back to Peacock for even more action and adventure this season. New realms and adorably ferocious dragons await our heroes as they prepare to face a rare dragon whose power threatens the world as they know it. Fire, ice, and lightning collide in this stellar show sure to entice the entire family.  

2.The Croods: Family Tree 

Following the events of The Croods: A New Age, our favorite prehistoric family The Croods must figure out how to co-exist on a farm run by their fellow cavepeople The Bettermans. Filled with hijinks, ‘snackalaches,’ and even more Gran Stonewell, this timeless romp is sure to enrapture kids of all ages.  

3. Abominable and The Invisible City 

After leading their abominable friend Everest to his yeti family in the Abominable film, Yi, Jen, and Peng return home with a newfound respect for the world’s many mysteries. But when Everest returns seeking help to protect other magical creatures from harm, it’s up to the gang to use the power of music and friendship to keep everyone safe. Delightful and heartfelt, this show is sure to make viewers of all ages wish they had a wild and woolly friend like Everest.  

4. The Makery 

Brooke is a young woman with a penchant for making things by using the materials in her magical house The Makery. Follow along with Brooke as her skills lead her to make stellar robot suits, wacky wigs, and other fun crafts in this educational live action romp sure to delight children of all ages.   

Kids Movies to Watch

1. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) 

Legendary feline hero Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) has done it all. Saved kingdoms, defeated monsters, even escaped death on more than one occasion. But when he discovers that his nine lives have all been expended, Puss sets out on a daring quest to find a fallen star and wish for more lives.  

2. Despicable Me (2010) 

Sick of being outdone by his newest arch nemesis Vector (Jason Segel), Gru (Steve Carell) sets a complicated plan in motion to steal the moon from the sky. But after Vector goes a step further and robs Gru, he’s forced to adopt three young, orphaned girls as part of his master plan to get back at him. The one thing he didn’t plan on? That the girls would steal his heart.  

3. Shrek (2001) 

Shrek (Mike Meyers) is an ogre whose more than content to remain unbothered. Who could blame him? Complete with mud baths, bugs, and giant boulders, his swamp home is everything an ogre could wish for. But when the Napoleonic Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) forces all magical creatures in the kingdom to his swamp, Shrek embarks on a quest with a fast-talking Donkey (Eddie Murphy) to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) and trade her to the lord for his land back. A task that proves ever more complicated when he realizes he may be falling for her.   

4. How to Train Your Dragon (2010

As far as Vikings go, Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) is a bit of a disappointment. Crafty, scrawny, and empathic, the young man can do little to the protect his home from the wrath of the dragons that raze it each night. But when a chance encounter causes him to bond with a rare dragon known as the Night Fury, Hiccup sets off on a path of understanding that will change the worlds of Viking and dragon forever.  

5. Hop (2011)  

Resistant to take up the family mantle and become the next Easter Bunny, E.B. (Russell Brand) sets out from his home on Easter Island and moves in with an out of work Los Angeles slacker (James Marsden) to pursue his dream of being a drummer. But when E.B.’s childhood friend Carlos the Chick (Hank Azaria) threatens to take over both Easter Island and the Easter holiday itself, E.B. is forced to find the balance between his responsibilities and the dreams he holds so near and dear.  

6. Blippi Movies (2014-2022) 

Clad in his signature orange hat and glasses, Blippi (Steve John) is here to lead children of all ages on an educational journey through the world around them. Whether on a snowflake scavenger hunt, delivering the mail, or explaining the importance of taking care of the environment, Blippi is sure to delight and enrich young children  

7. Caillou Movies (2022) 

Caillou is back, this time in five all-new movies that follow one of the most influential cartoon characters for children as he experiences his perfect Christmas, goes on adventures as a knight, and travels with his grandparents for errands. Featuring all new animation and the return of many fan-favorite characters, Caillou is sure to delight both new fans and old ones with its return.
