How to Watch SummerSlam 2025: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Countdown and Start Time
It’s all about to boil over in an epic two-night summer spectacle. Find out how to stream SummerSlam LIVE from New Jersey.

The biggest spectacle of the summer goes even bigger in 2025. This year SummerSlam is packing so much heat, so much action, and so many Superstars into one event that it could no longer be contained to just one night. We’ve got a full weekend of unforgettable matches ahead of us. Anything can happen this weekend, so you don’t want to miss a second of it.
What is SummerSlam?
SummerSlam is the biggest WWE Premium Live Event of the summer. One of the company’s Big Five events, it’s second only to WrestleMania in terms of importance. Like WrestleMania, it also takes place in a stadium rather than an arena. This is where all the feuds that have been building since WrestleMania are settled. It’s also where we can expect to see shocking twists we’ll be talking about the whole rest of the year. In the past, SummerSlam has been a one-night event. This year, for the first time ever, we get two nights of our favorite WWE Superstars going head-to-head.
Which WWE Superstars will be on SummerSlam Saturday?
The first night of the show, SummerSlam Saturday will feature, at time of writing, six matches, three of which are championship matches. The Women’s Tag Team Championship is on the line as Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, representing the Judgement Day, defend the title against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. We’ll also see WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton face Jade Cargill. These two Superstars always put on matches we can’t take our eyes away from. Then, Gunther defends the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk. Punk’s been chasing a championship since he came back to WWE, so we’re in for an emotionally charged match.
Even when there’s not a championship on the line, SummerSlam Saturday is bringing so much heat. Randy Orton teams up with Jelly Roll to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a match that’s sure to have everyone talking. After months of Karrion Kross trying to turn Sami Zayn to the dark side, they’ll face each other in the ring at SummerSlam. If Zayn Wins, Kross has to say he was wrong about Zayn. If Kross wins, Zayn must admit to Kross that he’s not the good guy he purports to be. Then, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are back on the same team to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, part of the team Paul Heyman put together after betraying the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania. You want heat? This match has all you can handle.
Which WWE SuperStars will be on SummerSlam Sunday?
SummerSlam kicks into high gear on the second night, with six championship matches scheduled at time of writing. Dominik Mysterio will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles. That’s the only no-stipulation singles match on the card at this point, but we’ve been watching both these Superstars for years. We know they can put together something special. The Women’s World Championship will be decided in a triple threat match between Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley. Expect some hard hits and high-flying dives in that one. Six tag teams will face off in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match that promises all the beautiful, brutal chaos we love to see — especially since it features the Wyatt Sicks, #DIY, Andrade and Rey Fenix, Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns, and The Street Profits. After Jacob Fatu turned on Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank, the two will face off inside a steel cage with Fatu eyeing Sikoa’s WWE United States Championship. Plus, after months of going after each other, Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria will meet in the ring once more in a No Disqualification, No Countout Last Chance Match. If Valkyria loses, she can never challenge for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship again while Lynch Holds the title.
The main event of SummerSlam Sunday is the long-awaited rematch between John Cena and Cody Rhodes. The last time these two Superstars faced each other one-on-one was WrestleMania. John Cena took the Undisputed WWE Championship with some help from Travis Scott. This time, Rhodes is ready for anything Cena has up his sleeve and will be planning a few surprises of his own. This is a Street Fight. That means falls count anywhere, there are no disqualifications, and weapons are allowed. Back at WrestleMania, Cena delivered the final blow to Rhodes with the championship itself. By setting this rematch up to be a Street Fight, Rhodes is looking for revenge.
