How to Watch Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Schedule, Kickoff Time
Sunday Night Football caps off another day of NFL action with a primetime thriller. Find out how to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Los Angeles Chargers LIVE.
The biggest games of the NFL season are on Sunday Night Football. Every week, you can catch must-see matchups LIVE after the rest of Sunday’s action has concluded. This week, Sunday Night Football takes us to Inglewood, CA where the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Los Angeles Chargers.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers
The Steelers (5–3, 1st in AFC North) are two games ahead at the top of their division. Barring a huge comeback by the Ravens or Bengals in the second half of the season, Pittsburgh could have the AFC North locked up. There are still plenty of games ahead, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to be lethal in a Steelers uniform. The Steelers saw only their third loss of the season two weeks ago against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. They bounced back with a 27–20 victory over a 7–2 Colts team. Pittsburgh’s position at the top of their division is not due to a favorable schedule. The running back duo of Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell have five rushing touchdowns between them. That kind of reliability opens up the field for Rodgers, especially when he has a wide receiver as talented as D.K. Metcalf. Metcalf has five touchdowns on his own this season and has caught for 467 yards. His next-level awareness, speed, and size mean he’ll win the ball against nearly any defender one-on-one. When this team is clicking, they look almost unstoppable. On Sunday night, they’ll have the chance to prove they are.
The Chargers (6–3, 2nd in AFC West) have been having a phenomenal season of their own. The only reason they’re not leading their division is because the Broncos are doing even better. The Chargers have now won two straight games, keeping the AFC West competitive. The top three teams all have winning records, and both the Broncos and Chargers find themselves above the Chiefs, a rare occurrence this decade. This is one of the most exciting divisions in football, largely due to how good the Chargers have been. Quarterback Justin Herbert is one of the league’s best passers with 2,290 yards and 18 touchdowns this season. Of course, it helps to have talented wide receivers like Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnson who’ve hauled in 10 of those TDs between them. There is a risk that comes with being such a prolific passer though: Interceptions. Herbert has thrown eight interceptions this year. Looking at their record, it hasn’t hindered them too much, but that could catch up with them, especially if they make the playoffs. Fortunately, the Chargers defense has proven capable of limiting any damage after those turnovers. They’rethe third best pass defense in the league, which will come in handy against a pass-heavy offense like the Steelers. If the Chargers can keep the ball out of Rodgers’ hands as much as possible, they’ll have the edge on Sunday night.
