Seth MacFarlane's NSFW Teddy Bear is Back in Hilarious Trailer for Ted Season 2
Everybody's favorite foul-mouthed teddy bear is back for more high school misadventures.
It's senior year, and Seth MacFarlane's Ted is headed back to school to get into a bit more '90s trouble in the hilarious first trailer for the NSFW comedy based on the hit film series.
The hit Peacock comedy series, created by MacFarlane and serving as a prequel to his two Ted films, returns with young John Bennett (the character played by Mark Whalberg in the films, with his younger version played by Max Burkholder in the series) and his talking teddy bear best friend Ted (MacFarlane) heading into their senior year and looking to have as much fun as possible before real life begins. The series is set in Framingham, Massachusetts, with John and Ted trying to survive high school.
Ted's excellent supporting cast includes Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach as John's parents Matty and Susan; and Giorgia Whigham as John's rebellious cousin Blaire.

The first-look footage give us a sneak peek of what John and Ted will be up to as they try to finish out senior year, from playing Dungeons and Dragons, to trying to use the phone line at the high school for some... not quite school-appropriate uses.
The first season of Ted broke records as Peacock’s most-watched original title and was the #1 Original Streaming Comedy in the U.S. for more than two consecutive months (per Nielsen) following its release on January 11, 2024. The series is produced, written, directed and co-showrun by MacFarlane, who also provides the voice for Ted.
If you're wanting even more Ted action to go along with the new season of the live action prequel, you're in luck, because Peacock is also hard at work on an animated series picking up the present day action in the wake of the first two films, following adult John and Ted still finding plenty of ways to get into trouble. The animated series will feature Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Barth, Kyle Mooney, and Liz Richman voicing the roles.
