What can fans expect from The McBee Dynasty Season 3?
"The McBee family returns and their future has never been in greater danger," the official Season 3 announcement revealed. "With the family patriarch facing prison time following a massive FBI investigation and banks calling in loans as a result, the McBee family must scramble to protect their legacy amid new romances, unexpected pregnancies, emotional goodbyes, and devastating losses across the family businesses. Is this the start of a new chapter… or the end of a dynasty?"
More specifically, The McBee Dynasty's Season 3 trailer kicks off with news coverage of Steve McBee Sr.’s sentencing following his guilty plea on one count of federal crop insurance fraud. As Steven Jr. meets with his brothers to discuss their path forward, he also has his new relationship with Allie on the brain.
"I met Allie through Instagram. Shocker," Steven Jr. jokes in a confessional amid glimpses of him picking her up from the airport as they hold hands in his truck and discuss the size of his bed. Once he introduces Allie to the family, Kacie, for one, can't help but notice that she "looks a lot like" Steven Jr.'s ex, Calah Jackson.
In another clip, Steven Jr. makes a bold prediction about his and Allie's future. "I think I'm probably gonna marry her," he says, prompting brother Cole to chime in, "That's pretty fast." Later, Steven even appears to mull over the possibility of moving to Texas to be closer to his new girlfriend.
Allie, meanwhile, might get more than she bargains when she asks the McBee family to tell her "everything" there is to know about Steven Jr. As she explains to him afterward in a seemingly tense moment, "I don't know what you want me to say. I'm learning all kinds of crazy s--t."
Steven Jr.'s hardly the only McBee brother navigating ups and downs in their relationships. New first-time fathers Cole and Jesse are both shown arguing with their respective significant others amid snippets of a sexy Las Vegas trip, while, back in Gallatin, Mo., one of them appears to discover a pregnancy test in their home.
The sneak peek leaves up in the air which of the women had taken the test, but, later on, Alli admits that she couldn't possibly say where her and Jesse's relationship might be in a day's time, let alone six months down the road. Jesse, for his part, vents in a separate moment, "You girls need to go do your own thing. You're pissing me off."
In addition to worrying about Kacie turning down his marriage proposal, Cole is also contending with the possibility of them losing their home, in addition to clashing with Steven Jr. about his "control issues" in running the family business amid their father's absence. Among Kacie's stressors is the fact that Allie apparently wants a 20 percent cut of her budding skincare tallow business.
Elsewhere, matriarch Kristi warns Masha that they "can't have any drama around any of the businesses," while the latter's feud with Galyna remains as intense as ever. After the former friends trade insults, Galyna is shown smashing the driveway camera at Steve Sr.'s lodge with a shovel.
As always though, the central issue remains keeping the family farm afloat, both for themselves and for the future McBee generations, amid ongoing financial concerns. "I am focused solely on saving the farm," Steven Sr. declares at the end of the Season 3 preview. "There is no backup plan, no contingency. We're gonna make it through this, and I'll be damned if that doesn't happen."
