Whether her fellow Islanders knew exactly where her hometown was on a map became a bit of a viral moment among Love Island fans during the early days of this season, with Kayda also later playfully defending her Boston-adjacent accent.
Kayda works as a server and model, standing at 5' 9", as she shared on Love Island USA. "I'm a server right now," she told Zach and Bryce in Episode 2. "I modeled a little bit in New York, but I didn't like the fast-paced [nature]."

Kayda is a proud dog mom, opening about her sweet pit bull on Love Island USA. During a chat with Bombshell Caleb McDaniel in Episode 15, Kayda gushed about her dog back at home, revealing her pup's name is Kaya. "Isn't that cute?" she said with a smile of their similar names.

Throughout Love Island USA Season 8, Kayda and Zach have been building a deeper connection in the Villa. So much so that their fellow Islanders voted for them to go off to the hideaway to spend a steamy night together in Episode 11.
Since then, Kayda and Zach have continued to find their way back to each other, even after exploring other connections during Casa Amor week. While Kayda spent some quality time with Casa Amor Bombshell Chay Nehra and Zach explored with Alannah Keyser, they both chose to stay loyal to each other during the recoupling ceremony in Episode 21, though Kayda admitted they had to work through some road bumps about what happened outside of challenges.
"I'm deciding to stay loyal to Zach," Kayda told Ariana Madix. "I just want to see if Zach's feelings are reciprocated towards me."
