The last of WWE’s Big Five Premium Live Events is here to shake up your holiday weekend. We’ll tell you how to stream all the action LIVE.

Becky Lynch and Asuka will meet again at Survivor Series: WarGames

November is coming to an end, and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for Survivor Series. One of the WWE’s Big Five Premium Live Events, Survivor Series is home to some of WWE’s biggest moments of the year. There’s even more excitement surrounding this year’s edition as it features the return of WarGames. After last year’s heart-pounding men’s and women’s WarGames matches, WWE is bringing the format back. You’re gonna want to see this one live, and we’re here to help you do just that.

What Is Survivor Series: WarGames?

Survivor Series is one of the five major Premium Live Events from WWE. Until 2022, it was known for a titular tag team elimination match where team members would be eliminated one by one until only one team remained in the ring. That changed last year with the introduction of the WarGames match. Now, teams of Superstars compete across two rings inside a massive steel cage. The match starts with two Superstars inside the cage. Every couple of minutes, another Superstar joins the fight. Whoever gets to add a teammate first has a clear numbers advantage until the next Superstar can enter and play equalizer.

How Many WarGames Matches Are There?

Survivor Series: WarGames will feature two WarGames matches. The women’s match will feature Damage CTRL, made up of Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane, vs. the team of Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch. The men’s match sees the Judgement Day (Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, and Dominik Mysterio) plus JD McDonagh and Drew McIntyre taking on Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton.

What Happened at the Last Survivor Series: WarGames?

Last year’s edition of Survivor Series: WarGames opened with a women’s match that also featured Damage CTRL, though Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky were joined by Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley for that one. Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch were also part of the opposing team last year as well, but they were joined by Michin (then known as Mia Yim), Alexa Bliss, and Asuka. Yes, Asuka fought against Damage CTRL in 2022. What a difference a year makes.

The men’s match was all about The Bloodline. It was the culmination of Sami Zayn’s efforts to prove his loyalty to Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. He joined Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa in the cage against team Brawling Brutes. Team Brawling Brutes was made up of Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, Drew McIntyre, and Zayn’s longtime friend Kevin Owens. It was a thrill-a-minute match culminating in Zayn winning Jey Uso over by offering up Owens for an Uso Splash. Both the men’s and women’s matches have to be seen to be believed. If you’re looking to get hyped for this year’s event, they’re absolutely worth a rewatch.

What Else Can I Expect from Survivor Series: Wargames?

In addition to the two WarGames matches, a number of other feuds will reach their boiling point at Survivor Series: WarGames. At time of writing, we’re due to see The Miz challenge Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Rhea Ripley will defend her Women’s World Championship against Zoey Stark, who earned this opportunity by winning a fatal five-way match at Crown Jewel. Speaking of Crown Jewel, after Santos Escobar was blamed for costing Rey Mysterio his championship at that event, Escobar turned against the LWO, setting up a match with Carlito at Survivor Series: Wargames. This is the last major WWE Premium Live event of the year, and they’re making sure to close out 2023 with a bang.

When does Survivor Series: WarGames Start?

Survivor Series: WarGames will start Saturday, Nov 25 at 8E/5P. Get the action started early with the Kickoff Show at 7E/4P.

Where Will Survivor Series: WarGames Take Place?
