How to Watch Money in the Bank 2025
The ladders are in place for one of the most thrilling WWE Premium LIVE Events of the year.

One of the most-anticipated WWE Premium Live Events of the year hits Los Angeles this weekend. Five men and five women will face off to become this year’s Mr. and Ms. Money in the Bank. That means that for up to one year, they’ll be able to cash in for a guaranteed championship match anywhere, anytime. They could cash in that same night as Drew McIntyre did last year, or they could wait and bide their time until the current champion is too tired to put up a fight. No matter what happens, there’s a whole lot of drama in store for us, and it all starts with some of the most exciting matches in WWE.
What is Money in the Bank?
Money in the Bank is an annual WWE Premium Live Event, and one of the five biggest PLEs on the calendar. What makes this one special are the two Money in the Bank ladder matches, one for men and one for women. Each match pits six Superstars against each other in a ring surrounded by ladders. High above the ring is a metal briefcase. The first Superstar to successfully climb a ladder and unhook the briefcase wins the match and becomes the new owner of the Money in the Bank contract. Naturally, even getting to the top of the ladder is a tall order. Superstars will have to incapacitate their opponents long enough to set it up, and avoid being thrown off, knocked over or thrown onto one of the many other ladders that are sure to litter the ring.
Who is competing in the Money in the Bank matches?
There will be two Money in the Bank ladder matches each featuring six Superstars. In the Men’s Money in the Bank match, we’ll see Solo Sikoa, L.A. Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, Andrade, and El Grande Americano fight for the contract. The women’s match will feature Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Naomi, and Stephanie Vaquer.
What matches will be at Money in the Bank?
We’ll also get to see Lyra Valkyria defend the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch. The pair teamed up at WrestleMania to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship but lost the very next night. In response, Lynch attacked Valkyria and made it clear she would be coming for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Valkyria defeated Lynch at Backlash, but the attacks continued and Valkyria agreed to face Lynch again, but only as a Last Chance match. That means if Lynch loses, she can never challenge for the title again as long as Valkyria is champion. If Valkyria loses, she must acknowledge that Lynch is the superior Superstar.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul Preview
The last remaining match on the card at time of writing is the main event. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will face John Cena and Logan Paul in a tag team battle on Saturday night. This will be Rhodes’ first match since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cena at WrestleMania. Rhodes then wasn’t seen again until thelast Saturday Night’s Main Event. When Jey Uso defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul, Cena interfered on Paul’s behalf. Uso retained the championship thanks to the return of Cody Rhodes, who allowed Uso to win, and chased Cena and Paul out of the ring. Now, all four Superstars will face each other at Money in the Bank. Neither championship is on the line, so this is all about settling scores.
It’s been a while since we got to see Cena in a tag team match, and this one’s made even more special knowing it’s his final Money in the Bank appearance. Cena will retire at the end of 2025, and he aims to take the Undisputed WWE Championship with him to become the last real Champion in WWE. Even without a championship on the line, this is personal for Rhodes and Uso. Add Paul’s exceptional in-ring talent to all that heat, and this will be the match everyone’s talking about on Monday.
