The Week 5 Sunday Night Football matchup brings you a battle between the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills. Find out where, when, and how to stream the game LIVE.

Sunday Night Football is LIVE every week on Peacock and NBC.

Sunday Night Football is home to some of the most thrilling matchups of the NFL season. Every week, two of the league’s toughest teams face off in primetime on Sunday’s biggest stage. This week brings the action to Orchard Park, New York where the New York Giants will take on the Buffalo Bills.

New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football

The Giants (1-4, 4th in NFC East) have had a rough start to their season. After opening the season with a 40–0 loss to the Cowboys on the first Sunday Night Football game of the season, the Giants bounced back, beating the Cardinals 31–28. So far, that’s the one bright spot of the season. They then lost to the Seahawks 24–3 and the Dolphins 31–16. During that last game, Quarterback Daniel Jones went out with a neck injury and as of this writing, it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to play on Sunday night. Running Back Saquon Barkley didn’t play in last week’s game and it is also unclear whether he’ll be able to return to face the Bills. If neither can play, it’ll be the Tyrod Taylor show. That could make things tougher for the Bills. With no idea which QB to prepare for, the Bills defense may have fewer answers if Taylor ends up taking the field. Taylor could also be extra-motivated to beat his old team in primetime too. The Giants are optimistic about Jones healing in time to play the Bills, and they’re hoping he bounces back stronger than ever. Either way, they’ll be an interesting team to watch on Sunday night.

The Bills (3-2, 2nd in AFC East) are coming off a loss against the Jaguars in London. Buffalo is a tough team to figure out. When they win, they look dominant. Their defense shuts down anything opponents try to do, and when Josh Allen is firing on all cylinders, he is near-impossible to defend against. He has a knack for putting the ball exactly where he wants it to go. You got him backed up near his own endzone? One play later he’s at the other end of the field. You got those downfield routes covered? He’ll toss it short and still get the first down. He’s got nowhere to throw? He’ll take it himself and good luck bringing this big man down. The only weakness here is, when Allen isn’t at his best, it can be costly. He’s thrown heartbreaking interceptions at the worst possible moments. If he makes any big mistakes this week, and the Giants’ offence can capitalize, Big Blue could take their second win. On the other hand, Buffalo is hungry to bounce back, and they’ll be at home in front of the Bills Mafia. They’ll be playing hard and are sure to give us a show on Sunday Night Football.
