First Look: The Tattooist of Auschwitz

Based on the international bestselling novel by Heather Morris, the forthcoming Peacock Original series The Tattooist of Auschwitz is inspired by the real-life story of Lali and Gita Sokolov, who met while prisoners in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during the Holocaust.  

Peacock has now released the official first-look images from the show which demonstrate the scale and breadth of the production and the series’ remarkable attention to detail and authenticity.  

When does the Tattooist of Auschwitz premiere? 

The Tattooist of Auschwitz is set to premiere exclusively on Peacock Thursday, May 2. 

Who is involved? 

The upcoming Original stars Oscar® nominee Harvey Keitel (The Irishman), Emmy® nominee Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), Anna Próchniak (Warsaw 44), and Jonas Nay (Deutschland 83). It also features a moving score from Hans Zimmer (Interstellar) and Kara Talve (Faraway Downs).
