Whether it’s a terrible act perpetrated by one person against another, or a vast conspiracy that threatens a whole society, crime makes for riveting drama. Crime shows are popular on Peacock, and we’ve got a terrific selection of Original series that you can’t watch anywhere else. Here are six winners you can binge right now.

1. A Friend of the Family

This harrowing limited series is based on the true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times by a charismatic, obsessed family “friend” in the 1970s. The Brobergs were utterly unprepared for the sophisticated tactics their neighbor used to exploit their vulnerabilities, drive them apart, and turn their daughter against them. This is the story of how their lives were permanently altered, and how they survived. The intense, deeply moving, Certified Fresh series was created by Nick Antosca (The Act, Candy), and the now-adult Jan Broberg is one of the producers. It stars Anna Paquin, Jake Lacy, Colin Hanks, Lio Tipton, and Mckenna Grace. This one is not to be missed.
